Light Emitting Diodes (= LED’s) are cold light digital emitters based on a micro-chip.
The small size and the extreme light efficiency of LED’s allows for complete new designs of torches and lamps, which where never before possible by conventional bulbs.
In our torches we only insert LED’s of the highest quality and brightness to ensure our customers get maximum product satisfaction.

- Extreme long lifetime - between 50'000 og 100'000 time or 2-5 years of continuous light.
(Typical bulbs used in major hand torches offer a lifetime of 20 to 100 hours only.)

The energy efficiency of this type of LED’s is very high and they develop only little heat. These LED’s decrease their power consumption in line with the battery power decline over time, which again increases the lighting time.
This type of LED's are very convenient for torches where a wide and rather short lighting range is required.
In our Illuminati and Performance series we only use color-assorted high-end LED's from Nichia Corp. in Japan. This special type provides a light beam, which is 5 times more powerful than low-price alternatives.
This latest type of 1 to 5 Watt LED's offer the highest LED-light output available in the world. They are 10 to 50 times more powerful than the low-energy LED's.
Thanks to these LED's it has finally become possible to create torches with reflectors or collimators, which can light up long distances.
